The Tucson Parks Foundation is comprised of volunteers from all facets of Tucson. Our membership Includes the business community, retirees, , golf enthusiasts and others who believe that local parks, along with quality youth programs, makes a community stronger. The Tucson Parks Foundation has donated more than 2.8 million to our sole benefactor, the Tucson Parks and Recreation Department, to build and enhance parks, fund children’s programs, help at-risk youth and assist the disabled.

The Tucson Parks Foundation is currently seeking new sponsors for their annual LPGA Championship, held in March each year. The LPGA Championship, along with other fundraisers throughout the year, support activities aimed at improving the quality of life in the Tucson community. This year, 2005, Tucson Parks Foundation is hosting a two day Celebrity ProAm and anticipates the return of the LPGA Championship in 2006.
